<p>The Alanda coffee table, an iconic piece that ushered in the 1980s, is now revisited in homage to Paolo Piva, the great architect and designer. A highly successful classic and sought-after vintage furnishing complements, Alanda is one of the most typical design objects of a period with a wealth of strong, daring stylistic signs, often in a dialogue with architecture, reproducing its most attractive, characteristic elements in miniature.</p>
<p>The Alanda’s structure, serving as both pedestal and support, recalls a group of upturned pyramids, a geodetic frame that has always characterized it as if it was a magical object, entrapping and amplifying cosmic energy.</p>

<p>Tortello presents itself as a monolithic sofa that amuses with its generous, soft and cozy shapes. Just as the name leaves no room for the imagination, the design is also striking. Tortello is composed of several unexpected elements. The supporting structure, a sort of tray with a trapezoidal section base, is rotationally molded from recycled polyethylene. It is then completed by an elastomer mattress on which the foamed upper element is laid, a soft fabric-covered volume characterized by a peculiar profile thanks to a ‘pinched’ stitching. Tortello boasts responsible manufacturing thanks to the most advanced technologies and state-of-the-art materials. Circularity and recycling are at the heart of this new collection, starting with the structure in second-life polyethylene to which are added elements in polyurethane foam and thermoplastic elastomers that define its geometry and comfort. Softness is guaranteed by a series of targeted constructive expedients, despite the fact that the quantity of polyurethane used is minimal. The choice of materials and construction techniques, which allow to assemble the structural elements without the use of adhesive or glues, mean that Tortello can be completely disassembled and consequently easy to recycle.</p>

<p>The outdoor Borea two-seater and three-seater sofas feature a tubular metal frame with a fluid and seamless design, without joints and interruptions, and an unexpected motif in the end part that rests on the ground. The metal bending processes used exploit techniques typically used in the aeronautical sector and transport them into the world of outdoor furniture, giving life to a collection with an unmistakable style. Comfort is ensured by generous, welcoming cushions, which are not only soft and relaxing but also developed to be sustainable: the paddings are made from 100% polyester fibre obtained from recycled PET plastic bottles, enveloping a polyurethane core in diversified densities. 510 1500 ml bottles are needed to create the upholstery for a Borea three-seater sofa, and 390 bottles for the two-seater sofa.</p>

Borea Outdoor Sofa

<p>Alex is a series of tables in various sizes, distinguished by the pronounced design of the sectional frames in large, lenticular shapes. Three shapes and different sizes: rectangular in three lengths, round and square. The “sawhorse” frame connected with the crosspiece is made of hard polyurethane with metallic drawn inserts in glossy or satin colours of the B&amp;B Italia collection. There is a wide range of finishes of the tops, from wood to satin or glossy finishes, from marble finish to mirror glass. The round version allows the possibility of positioning at the centre of the table a round swivel tray.</p>

<p>The configuration of this chair has characteristics and references incomparable. The chair recalls ancient statues of goddesses of fertility. However, he has something extra: a spherical ottoman attached to the chair. Therefore, the image of comfort and convenience is combined with a more figurative image of a woman with a balloon and a chain on her foot.</p>


Dimensions

<p>The Bibambola and Granbambola sofas are part of Le Bambole series, originally designed in 1972, awarded with the Compasso d’Oro in 1979. Icon of timeless contemporaneity and one of the most effective expressions of Made in Italy excellence combining research and creative flair, Le Bambole have provided a very personal answer to the theme of seats. What makes them special is the apparent absence of a load bearing structure, the extreme naturalness of the shape, and the combination of comfort, softness and elasticity that their appearance conveys. Where the original construction was based on a metal structure embedded in polyurethane, now the materials used are of the latest generation, starting with recycled polyethylene gives structure. A sustainable project thanks to the choice of materials and the construction method, that allows the components of Le Bambole to be completely disassembled and therefore easily recyclable.</p>

<p>Flair O’ is a small domestic throne, a chair that matches the Allure O’ table perfectly. The two objects establish a dialogue starting from their bases. Both pieces sit atop a truncated pyramid with rounded edges to reconcile the concepts of elegance and charm. The base widens gently on the back side as it nears the floor. It becomes almost unnoticeable and provides great stability without interfering with the harmony of the design. A padded seat provides necessary comfort. Moreover, the accentuated tilt of the backrest and its enveloping shape help people relax without compromising the ideal posture to adopt when interacting with others elegantly around a dining table. Furthermore, the chair is equipped with a swivel mechanism with an automatic return. The fabric cover embraces Flair O’ like a tailored suit, covering it completely from the seat to the base.</p>
